About the Authors

Joy Farina Foskett is a nationally recognized early childhood education leader, literacy professor, educator, and advocate with over 20 years of experience advancing high-quality learning for young children.

Based in New York City, she has led educational programs across multiple schools, supporting teachers, families, and young learners through developmentally appropriate, language-rich instruction that fosters confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of reading. She co-authored this series with her grandson, Edward Paul Foskett, whose creativity, humor, and love of storytelling helped bring these joyful adventures to life. Together, they created these stories to celebrate family, connection, and the magic of learning to read.
